July 2016 Monthly Favourites
Phew can you believe how fast July went? Hope you had as much fun as I did, lots of time spent with friends and my workout routine has really improved (I can do 5 push-ups! *self-five* With the summer halfway over, I thought it would be a great opportunity to look over this month’s favourite things. Comment below your favourite, I want to read all about it!
Pastel Blue Summer Dress
This pastel blue beautiful dress has been my go to outfit for the entire month, whether I’m doing the groceries or shopping with my girlfriends. As you can probably tell the fabric is not too heavy and lets my body breathe. You can easily pair it with white sandals and silvery accessories. You can find that style at H&M but I prefer browsing the local thrift shop. That’s my effort to be eco-friendly and dress for less money.
Brown Leathery Wedges
What a blast from the past! Every time I wear them, I feel like a disco queen on my way to Woodstock or Studio 54. There is a retro feel to it yet with a modern touch. Plus the 3 inch heels are pretty comfortable to walk around, gives me quite a boost – with it I’m almost 6 feet tall. These go well with a straight laced pair of jeans or a maxi dress.
Game of Thrones Slot Machine
Now you know how addicted to Game of Thrones I was. I didn’t know what to do with myself until next season airs. That’s why I found this neat little game about Game of Thrones at Zodiac Casino. I play a few minutes a day, it relaxes me.
Chai Tea with Milk
I don’t know about you but I reduce my consumption of coffee during summer. It’s like I can’t take in as much caffeine, the sun is already giving me a boost. I’ve recently discovered Chai Tea with milk, it’s absolutely divine. The flavours! Makes me want to book a plane ticket to Mumbai tomorrow.
Romeo and Juliet
I’ve recently been to the Theatre to see a modern adaptation of Romeo and Juliet. It was passionate, dramatic and inappropriate (they are teenagers and 10 people die for their love story). Still it gave me the idea to reread this classic and fall in love again with the story. There is no denying, Shakespeare is the bomb!
