How to Achieve Your Goals by Being Bolder

Do you feel like life is passing you by? It’s normal to look around and have the feeling your friends and family are living their life to the fullest and you’re just cruising through your life on automatic mode. However, don’t let anything stop you from doing what you truly want. Life is not for other people and here are some tips on how to enjoy life to the fullest by taking risks and being bolder.

“The only safe thing is to take a chance.” ― Elaine May

It’s Okay to Break the Rules

If you want to win the game, first you need to learn the rules. Then you learn how to bend the rules. Understand you don’t have to follow every single regulations in the world. Of course you have to respect some rules – *ahem federal laws* – But the rest is fair play. If you really want to do something, ask yourself first if the rules are necessary, what do I feel is the right way to go and can I bring my own flair into it? Be bold, make up your own rules!

Start Before You Feel Ready

“Great people do things before they’re ready. They do things before they know they can do it. Doing what you’re afraid of, getting out of your comfort zone, taking risks like that- that’s what life is.” – Amy Poelher

Guess what, you’ll never feel 100% ready so might as well give it a solid shot now. It is scary but courage isn’t the absence of fear, it’s being fearful but going ahead anyway. You want to learn the perfect blackjack strategy and start playing online casino? Do it now. Want to go bungee jumping? Do it now! Tomorrow is a foreign concept because technically it doesn’t exist. Who knows how long you still have on this earth? If you don’t start today what you really want to do, you’ll miss the great opportunities on your path.…

My 2016 Resolutions: Looking Back

When I kicked off the year with the intention of making it the greatest year ever, I was full of hope, maybe a bit of delusion. So how did I far 6 months in? If I could start all over again, what would I change? Taking some steps into improving your life is not easy but well worth it. Here are my top 2016 resolutions and the impact it had on my life.

“Change will not come if we wait for some other person, or if we wait for some other time. We are the ones we’ve been waiting for. We are the change that we seek.” – Barack Obama

Save More Money

Wow I didn’t pick the easiest resolution to start with. Hell, even eating healthier sounds more fun than cut my expenses and earn more cash. It was actually pretty easy to cut down on spending in the first few months. Winter made it harder to go out to eat and drinks, so I focused on home cooking. I’ve also stopping visiting local casinos and started playing on my Iphone instead. I really like the Zodiac Casino app as it allows me to save money on transportation and drinks.

Meditate Everyday

“Meditation is a way for nourishing and blossoming the divinity within you” – Amit Ray

Before 2016, my only experience with mediation happened during an intense session of hot yoga. The teacher just gave directions but I was too busy wondering what I would buy for dinner that I missed the supposedly deep emotional awakening that was promised by meditation. Well I’m proud to say that I’ve fallen in love with meditation, will even go as far as saying we’re soulmates! It only takes 10 minutes a day and it brings me so much joy and inner peace. Without a doubt it’s the best gift you can give to yourself. Start today and you won’t regret it.

Take Care of Your Body

“Respect your body. Eat well. Dance forever.” ― Eliza Gaynor Minden

Without realising it, I’ve been neglecting my body and overall health for years. I’ve suffered from an injury that does not heal and frankly, I had given up any hope of a cure. Boy was I wrong, with the help of a fantastic team of chiropractor, personal trainers, and dietitian I feel the best I’ve been in over ten years. My advice would be to not give up, keep searching for the people that can help you. In any circumstances, your health goes on first. The rest can wait.…
